Our Very Present Help in Times of Trouble

I’m so grateful our God is “a very present help in times of trouble.” (Psalm 46:1) If we look at the world, there’s so much war, heartbreak, and brokenness. Our souls often feel helpless and heavy with despair.

But when we turn our eyes toward God, He becomes our “refuge and strength.” There’s nothing life can throw at us where God won’t be there, right in our midst, leading, guiding, and showing us the way.

When your heart feels weary, just look around at all the wonders He created for you and tell Him you trust Him — even if you don’t understand.

When we place our trust and hope in God’s hands, He will light our path. Restore our joy. And comfort us with the security of His mighty presence.

“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.” Psalm 46:1

“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4
