Hi! I'm Macki -- just a simple mom with a constant need for Jesus. Our family lives on a small cattle farm in rural Mississippi. When I'm not homeschooling my three curly-headed daughters or helping my veterinarian-husband at our animal hospital, I enjoy writing about our adventures in faith, family, and farm life.

Before motherhood, I taught kindergarten and special education -- and also led a church women's ministry. But now, I'm savoring this season, having my little ones at home. Most days, you'll find me with a strong cup of coffee in hand while chasing the kids back into the house, the chickens back into the coop, or the cows back into the pasture. It's a wild and crazy life, but I'm learning to trust God with it and embrace all the trials and triumphs that go along with this unpredictable terrain.
